Between the Buried and Me has been one the most pivotal progressive metal bands in the history of the genre. Since forming in 2000, the gentlemen originally from North Carolina have been crafting some of the most complex and original music known. They released my favorite album of 2015, Coma Ecliptic, which debuted at #1 on numerous hard rock and metal charts across the United States.
Between the Buried and Me have been one of my most favorite bands for a number of years. Having this opportunity to gain some insight into the kind of music my favorite musicians listen to was incredibly exciting. Tommy Rogers, vocalist and keyboardist for the group, as well as Dan Briggs, bassist, were awesome enough to send me their favorite albums of the year. Thank you very much, guys!
