Panopticon’s newest studio album, Autumn Eternal, is coming out next Friday. It’s been a highly anticipated release since I learned of its impending arrival and most certainly after hearing the title track from the album. To promote Autumn Eternal‘s upcoming release, a second song from the album has been made public.
“Into the North Woods” is the second song on the album, and it rolls directly into “Autumn Eternal”. The new track follows a same feel as the previous one, which is to be expected. Autumn Eternal is the third chapter in Panopticon’s trilogy, so the chances are that all of the songs are interwoven into one story. It is noteworthy to mention that Colin Marston (of infinite fame and glory) is handling parts of the recording as well as the producing, mixing, and mastering. With these brilliant black metal minds again, this album is sure to be a soundtrack for the Fall.
